Yup, FPS and iframes are both 15, I don't use hardware acceleration and I also have the receive buffer set to 40.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

He got the firmware from EmpireTech Andy. The updated firmware has a feature that'll dim the IR when you walk up to the camera so it won't overexpose your face.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

I've also noticed a weird bug that only happens with cameras that have the new GUI. Assuming you're using sub streams, when you maximize the camera in blue iris, the video will pause for a second, quickly show a still image from a couple of hours ago, then revert to playing the live stream like...

IPC-Color4K-T180 Intermittent 'No Signal' in BI

Decoder compatibility mode is located in the same screen in BI where you do the find/inspect. The login verification is in the camera GUI under under Network Settings --> Platform Access --> ONVIF

IPC-Color4K-T180 Intermittent 'No Signal' in BI

I allowed Ken to stream from my T180 and he also had dropouts. He suggested I try a couple of settings to see if one of them would resolve the issue. I enabled "decoder compatibility mode" in BI and I also disabled ONVIF "login verification" within the camera GUI. So far I've gone about 24 hours...

Upgrading Alarm/Security System - Seeking Opinions

It looks like the Honeywell DT8035V might be your best bet. It's hard to tell from the install manual, but it looks like it'll tolerate pets on couches as long as it's 6 feet or so from the detector...

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

Yeah, a factory default, defaults everything back to the way it left the factory. How are you doing it remotely? You might not have to go back onsite. If you're doing it from the BI computer, you can add a second subnet on the NIC so you can still access the camera. How do you have it setup?

Depending on the construction of your interior walls I'm sure the receiver won't have any issues covering 1,900 sq-ft. Just an FYI, the DSC Neo and IQ Pro support PowerG encrypted wireless sensors which have a very large advertised range (I think somewhere near a mile or two in open air). But...

BlueIris decides to delete all of my videos (5.8.0.7, PSA)?

I agree with you, but it appears a decent amount of people can't figure that out lol.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

If you didn't do a factory default after the firmware update, the new firmware won't do anything. A factory default is required.

Upgrading Alarm/Security System - Seeking Opinions

The resistors should be located at the last smoke detector on the zone. That's how the panel will detect any issues with the zone wiring. Which from your picture it looks like it was properly installed. I'm not sure about DSC panel's, but on Honeywell panels 4 wire smoke detectors need some type...

Did you do a factory default after you updated the firmware?

For anyone that's interested, I tested the failover feature in Digital Watchdog. The way digital watchdog is setup is you can merge multiple servers together. So for example. server 1 and server 2 can be merged together into one location. The cameras on server 1 and 2 can be viewed in the same...

BlueIris decides to delete all of my videos (5.8.0.7, PSA)?

I understand both sides of this argument and how someone would not realize that "install latest update available" could cause issues. Especially if that person is not active on this forum or actively reading up on BI. Ken should really include a notation indicating that the "latest update...

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

I got mine directly from Dahua's website as I'm using their branded firmware. I suggest reaching out to Andy to get the latest firmware from him for that camera.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

I'm on System Version:3.100.0000000.6.R Build Date:2023-08-02 I'm on the Dahua branded firmware (for reasons unrelated to this). Under Camera-->image>illuminator do you have the option "Illumination Overexposure Remover"? If not, you're on an older firmware and I would update just for the...

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

Both of you guys tried turning off "Login Verification" under Network Settings --> Platform Access --> ONVIF? Out of curiosity can you guys post your firmware version? If BI can't find/inspect the camera it also probably won't be able to receive AI alerts from the camera.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

hmm I'm at a loss. What firmware version are you on? If its older my next step would be to get the latest firmware from Andy, update it and factory default. I can get BI to pull the data from S3 version but I have the fixed lens version.

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

I mean the ONVIF username and password in camera GUI. In the camera GUI go to System-->Account-->ONVIF User

And if you changed the username and password after the initial configuration you need to confirm the ONVIF username and password also changed. If the ONVIF username and password is incorrect BI won't be able to pull any of the info from the camera.

BlueIris decides to delete all of my videos (5.8.0.7, PSA)?

Blue Iris is great because of how granular and customizable it is. It's great for someone like me who uses it in their home and like to mess around with it. In my opinion, specifically because of the current state of the database, BI does not belong in a commercial environment where the...

How far away from the motion detector is the couch? I have the honeywell Dual Tech 100lb motions and if I remember correctly they couch has to be at least 6 feet away from the motion to maintain pet immunity. We'll have to look at the Bosch manual. If the dog is going to grow to 40 to 45lbs I...

If you want free self-monitoring you're going to have to stick with either the DSC PC1864 series or the Honeywell Vista 20p. The DSC Neo series has an encrypted keypad bus so you won't be able to use the envisalink with it. The Envisalink 4 is the way to go for internet based self-monitoring...

    IPC-T54IR-ZE-S zoom setting question.

Is that the S3 model? I had a similar issue with BI. I had turn off "login verification" located in Network Settings --> Platform Access --> ONVIF. Once disabled BI was able to pull all of the information from the camera.

Which Router to buy in 2023? UPDATE went with OPNsense on a firewall box.

I've been using pfSense CE for about a year and a half now. I'll never go back to any consumer router as long as I have control over it. Going from a subpar consumer router like Asus, Netgear, Amazon etc. to pfSense is like going from a Ring door bell to Andy's Color 4K cameras. I like the...

Review- EmpireTech IPC-B54IR-ASE 4MP IR Fixed-Focal Bullet IP Camera

The quality will definitely be degraded. Most of us on this forum run our cameras on an isolated LAN via a second NIC that does not touch our main LAN or have any internet access. Running the cameras at 8192 will not "jam" the network. I have plenty of cameras running 8192 and higher bitrate and...

BlueIris decides to delete all of my videos (5.8.0.7, PSA)?

It’s been pretty good lately (besides the version people are having issues with) but I remember last year there were a couple versons where I’d get Add to BI DB errors more than once on different installs.

it’s licensed per camera. It’s about $85 to $90 per license depending on where you buy it from and how many licenses you buy. Another option I thought of is you could keep your current system in place, and add the DW system separately. So you add 5 new cameras to the locations that are required...

Honestly, based on everything I've read in this thread, I don't think BI is your best choice. BI needs database maintenance. While you're doing the maintenance (ether automatically or manually) recording is paused. This could be a violation of that law. As discussed in other threads BI's...
