    Hi, Is there any update on this issue, this reminds me of hikvision dome cameras. Anyone else having this issue of IR reflection on the ZE models? From what i am reading on this IR issue and focus issues, is it best to stick with the Z versions. Thanks

    DS-2CD2335FWD-I with DS-7616N-E2/8P NVR

    Hi Guys I am about to replace IP cameras and just wondered if anyone had used the DS-7616N-E2/8P NVR with the newer IP cameras? I understand this NVR does not support h.265 but wondering whether there is anyone point in upgrading the NVR and maybe save some money. Thanks

    None of the cameras are doing any port forwarding as i connect to them via a vpn through firewall. They are indeed connected to a NVR, will look into it, thanks for the suggestion.

    same issue, it seems it is losing the IP settings including the enabled dhcp option. I am wondering whether the upgrading hack would have caused it? It is fine on others except the two.

    anyone any ideas? I have reloaded firmware, done defaults and still get same issue, seems like after reboot it is getting 192.168.254.11 address. It seems after a reboot it does work on the IP address for 10 pings before reverting to wrong IP address. Thanks

    hi my cameras (DS-2CD2732F-IS) are on version 5.4.5 and they seem to lose the IP settings on reboot, anyone had similar issues? Only 2 cams having this issue. edit - i might have fixed the issue, although i changed the IP using SADP tool, i then had to go in the cam settings to save.

    Yep used the tftp when in a telnet root shell in the min-system. Transferred the firmware and as you suggested the "upgrade" command did the trick.

    hi guys i think i might have messed up the upgrade on DS-2CD2732F-IS. So i uploaded the new mtdblock6 and did the first upgrade from 3.25 to 3.30. the camera rebooted and i could also ping but no web access and telnet username/password dont work: (none) Login: Any ideas how to recover?
