    @Data1 agreed, seems to be getting worse in DMSS and gdmss seems okay for me. Hopefully they fix this soon as my system is essentially useless right now for controlling via phone.

    @Damon Yep, restarts didn't help and I've been using CBR for years. Weird that this happened out of the blue with no changes at all with my setup. @EMPIRETECANDY is looking into it with Dahua since others are having the same issue per Google Play app reviews.

    So far mine switched back to day based on normal schedule and didn't lose the shutter range today, so we'll see when it switches to night (night has been the main issue of losing the setting and going back to 40ms). I'm guessing your test rig was also fine going back to day and 35ms as well?

    Missing second in NVR playback

    It is connected to a POE switch since the NVR isn't POE. But get this, I updated the NVR firmware and playing back the same car footage that had issues now works perfectly with no dropped frames or time. Must have just been a weird NVR firmware bug for playback. Strange, but all set now.

    It only seems to happen certain times. Other times it works perfectly. When I watch on gDMSS android app it sees every frame of the exact same car, but watching on the NVR it's like a frame was corrupted and skipped.

    I have tried trip lines zig zagged and intrusion boxes for my LPR, but the IVS only catches the last bit of cars going any speed. Has anyone had success with a scene like this? LPR is perfect, just prefer to be able to review by IVS events versus all footage to look for cars.

    I think the issue is needing to use IE for this firmware. Not sure why it sometimes still worked even in Chrome, but I set the rules in IE just now and it is logging IVS again. I'll see if it holds for a day or two.
