Thanks for the feedback and I am thinking your right, I bought these on ebay and it could just be it's bad, so I think I will just replace the camera, I am looking at the DS-2CD22232-I5 with a mounting bracket arm which should help with the IR reflection, just not sure if I should get a 4mm or... -

Thanks for the tip, it does help, but I noticed the picture is now degraded, lots of grains, think in the long run I need to move the camera out of the house more, so whats the best way to extend out the bullet camera, do the make some type of mount arm that will fit the units, I have one more... -

You can, but you have to change the subnet to flash them, guess its the same if you want to flash the NVR. The issue with the crossover cable is you then need a power cable. Using the POE switch worked just fine, it was the windows firewall preventing the camera from being seen. So I did it like this: Set your network adapter to 192.0.0.28 ( reboot ) Turn off windows firewall Computer ethernet... -

The cameras I got need to be unlocked and then I did a reset back to default. Just use the unlock tool, it works great. Just do a Google search for Hikvision camera unlock tool, its on another website, you paste in your unit serial number in the SADPtool, or iVMS apps. I have a 7608 and the... -

I bought a new NVR and thought what the hell and bought 5 of them from this guy. I am pretty sure they are rebranded HIKvisions, just not sure which model to try reflashing the software with. Did you also notice the revits are still in the mounting holes, now they have to be drilled out...
