    Blue Iris Android App Lag

Is it actual lag, as in slow performance? Or do you mean there's a delay before the lists load? If it's the latter, there's a recent thread about this and the solution is to buy an SSD.

    CPU running at 100%?

Can email the dev. I can't pinpoint the version because my ddns was down for a couple weeks, so action tiles wasn't pulling the BI camera stream 24/7. After digging, I noticed pulling the BI stream on tinycam and BI-mobile also skyrockets my CPU usage, so it appears to be an issue with...

    CPU running at 100%?

What version of BI are you running? I do the same - stream to action tiles (similar to sharptools) and discovered the bug as well yesterday. It had to have been introduced in a recent version because I've had it set up this way since bi4 without issue. Now, if I have 3 cams streaming to my...

    Slow first load in app?

That's weird because tinycam and the ui3 load instantly. It's the blue iris Android app itself that has the issue.

Thanks. Good incentive to purchase the support package so I can continue the updates

    5.2.7.0 - RTSP sub-streams for high-MP cameras

Hi, just want to confirm that in later versions, live view (through apps) uses the full resolution stream. My current version uses the substream for live view. Not too nice at 480p

    Hikvision firmware for LaView LV-PBK80804C

Ever figure this one out? I'm in the same boat Reason I want to switch to hik firmware is so I can send onvif commands through blue iris to enable/disable wdr based on sunrise. I can't get an xml file readout of the available commands using la view firmware

    Slow first load in app?

Same issue here. I figured it was normal. That's why I switched to tiny cam as a viewer. Much much nicer "all camera" view, and it loads instantly. Issue is I still need the BI app to view alerts because I'm recording as BVR, not mp4

    CPU usage creeping up slowly

Yes, but mine has nothing to do with video divers. A specific camera, la view doorbell, seems to be the culprit. I've "solved" it by having watchdog reconnect it every 30 min.

Is BI overkill for what I want

you could probably get away with just using tinycam

    Firetv floating windows?

Running a firetv 4k stick. I enabled floaters in dev settings, but initiating a floating window doesn't work (I select floating window from the cam screen and nothing happens). Is there an adb setting I need to do on my firetv to enable a floating window permission? PiP functions when...

tinyCam 13.2.1 allows Blue Iris alerts playback (MP4 only)

Unfortunate because your app is light-years ahead of the blue iris viewer app in both UI and speed.

tinyCam 13.2.1 allows Blue Iris alerts playback (MP4 only)

Hi, Is bvr support on the roadmap? I use your app mainly as a playback device and most of us blueiris guys are doing direct to disk bvr recording.

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

That's what I'm confused about. I tried both drivers posted there for my processor. Even if I disabled Intel acceleration I get the memory leak. My other cameras with Intel enabled have no issue. If I disable and enable the doorbell can, it resets the memory usage back to normal temporarily

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Anyone have an insane memory leak using this camera with blue iris (laview version on laview firmware)? Hardware Accel disabled or not doesn't alleviate the issue. Once this camera is disabled, my memory leak is 100% solved. I can't figure it out. Never had this problem when I first got the...

BI 4 & 5 Both have Mem Leak with I5-8400 using suggested vc driver. Suggestions?

Sounds like you're using this in a commercial setting, but I'll add my anecdotal evidence anyway... I'm having the exact same issues. I'm on the correct driver, and it persists with Intel Accel disabled. Long story short, I tracked it back to a single camera -- my La View doorbell. I disabled...

BI-5 Remote Management? Anyone using it?

Worked once to pull some footage of someone who backed into my car, but now it just constantly crashes. Served its purpose i guess

New RCA HSDB2A 3MP Doorbell IP Camera

Generally you're better off connecting to the 2.4ghz band because this needs to penetrate an outside wall. It uses less than 5mbit so you just need a stable, not necessarily fast, connection

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

I don't use it, but it's nice to have. Most of my "visitors" are just Amazon deliveries, which they just leave. Everyone else are just holy people or salesmen, so I just ignore.

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

All I can think of is that it is meant to confirm intercom request or confirm button push, but ding dong isn't appropriate. It's like if you heard your ringtone every time you send a text. It's so ridiculous that people walking on the other side of the street turn their heads to see what the...

Sweet! LTS is releasing an ONVIF compatible doorbell with SD card slot and 940nm IR

Can't turn off the sound. I actually wouldn't mind the sound if it were a subtle beep instead of a loud DING DONG that people can clearly hear across the street. As far as hikvision software on their other devices, no idea... I just use blue iris

Isolated cameras -- How do I pull the substream if they don't have internet?

Not sure what the proper lingo for this is, so i'm having difficulty searching. My setup: Camera -> Switch -> BI PC -> router (via wan) With this setup, my cameras have no access to the internet. I'm not doing anything tricky with VLANS. I just have the cameras set to a static IP and left the...
