    This has a pretty big sensor. (joke btw) It is a small sample size, you've probably had 5 different sensors in all of your cameras. OV4689, IMX*22, IMX178, AR0330. Ok, maybe only 4. I can't be bothered doing the maths but the HFW2100 is much better in pitch-black with the same IR as IMX178.

    How many cameras does OP want? If it's 6 then get DS-7608NI-E2/8P and save the cash, that's a no-brainer for me. If it's 8 then better to get DS-7616NI-E2/8P or DS-7616NI-E2/16P can have more room to grow. If you're getting any 4K cameras then splash out on DS-7616NI-I2/16P

    It's because you are on NTSC or 60Hz. so it's 1/30 to 1/60 instead of 1/25 to 1/50 which is what PAL or 50Hz has.

    DS-2CD2132F-IS is either WR / UK / EU / USA / International version or Chinese version (they make both confusingly) DS-2CD3132F-IWS is chinese only. It might have more plastic bits than metal. At this price range stick to the DS-2CD2132F-IS unless you want wifi (which you shoudn't)
