    The only 625 version i was able to find was General_ITC215(237)-PW6M-XXX_Eng_PN_Oversea_ITCPUSH_AreaPack_V2.625.0000000.0.R.201105.bin. Not sure if it is for US plates, it was from dahua.support site and looked Polish.

    2 Problems with HDW2231 camera.

    I couldn't get any videos recorded to SD card. Tried 2 different models of camera. But i thought it was sd cards causing it as they were just old no name 256, 512 mb cards i had in the desk drawer. They are functional in the PC and Dahua also sees and formats them but no video recorded ever.

    Also make sure inside of the dome is clean and oil free. lens gasket sometimes leaves an oily residue on the dome.

    Question about lens swapping on Dahua turrets

    Any experience on swapping lenses on Dahua turrets. Do they use M12 lens? Assuming it uses M12 what parameters should be considered. Some include Megapixel number but i don't think it is relevant as long as sensor size matches. Right? Now i know it is probably easier to just get the right lens...

    Hi Andy not sure if this is the best place to ask but is it possible to change camera model number in firmware? Digital watchdog sees model as IPC-HDBW4231FP-E2-M and requires 2 licenses to use. If camera name is IPC-HDBW4231FN-E2-M only 1 license should be required.

    Well i agree a lot cheaper is always better :) But for example i do have a place where i would like to have a higher resolution. This place got crazy lighting, someone went overboard and it is lighted better than a football field on the game day :lol:

    I agree for $52 crazy good value. Also they BH had some cheapo 1.3mp ones for $20 also crazy deal for some not essential areas. But at 74 there are other choices that might be a better value (or not depending on use case), i still probably will get a few. But also looking at Hiks in same price...
