    DS-2CD2432F-IW day/night switch problem

    I also have the same issue with two of my Hikvision cameras. My bright porch lights wont make it switch to day mode. I wish it could be made more sensitive.

    You should run cable to any place you think you might possibly want to add a camera in the future. What about a camera located in the back left and right corner of your house facing forward? This could alert you if anybody is trying to get into your back yard.

    Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW 3MP w/POE IP Camera night vision will not switch to day

    I have the same problem with my DS-2CD3332-I which is located on my front porch. I have it set on Auto but even the porch lights aren't bright enough to make it switch to Day. The 0-7 Sensitivity setting doesn't seem to do anything.

    Hikvision USA vs. Hikvision Issues

    I usually buy the Chinese version of an item due to the cost savings but I like having the option of buying a Hikvision USA product. I think the new rule will alienate customers and I'm not sure what Hikvision will gain from it.
