Just to let you guys know the dahua config tool was not working at all, it was not prompting to do the initial password setup on any camera. Had to set the computer in that range and go to the web interface where it prompted you to do this and then set the ip from there. It would just say bad... -

External Devices

Xprotect Essentials 2018 R1 Stability issues

looks similar to how google fiber works based on what I have seen in the pfsense world. pppoe and vlans for it to work. regardless when you forward in that router/modem to the wan ip of your google wifi router then port forward accordingly the port does not open? i run hamachi at my fathers...- awahl101

Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router Test 8081 and make sure you are seeing that as open. Edit. Nkt sure why tapatalk the pictures show up all blurry. You can do a vpn but depending on what current router you have installed it may or may not be possible. It sounds like you do have some other issues as well, are your cameras setup statically as well? I will send you a PM with a teamviewer QS code if you want me to log in and lend a hand. -

Some basic networking knowledge is needed. Make sure your system is set with a static ip. And you will need to port forward the port selected . Something other than 80 should be used. You will allow this in your router, the other part is ddns which basically points to your wan ip and... -

If I recall correctly 2mp at 25fps should be right at 4096 so you should have full quality. A 4mp at 25 you would want hight to not reduce quality. I run my 4mp's at 6000+ generally. Thats high for 2 mp. Wonder if the bitrate is locking the cameras up temporarily trying to keep up with the set bitrate. Could be interference on the wires but I doubt it. Try setting one to 4096 and see if you still get those messages. I would say your iframe is/was 25 to match your fps...- awahl101

40 MB/s read/write to your nas over a wireless link? Must be a 5ghz ac bridge? Edit* just looked its a wireless n bridge. Test your read/ write speeds to that and see what you get.
