    I have about 5 camera on SSS and 16 on BI. I believe in redundancy when it comes to surveillance lol I just use SSS as a backup, I find BI easier to browse, playback, etc. Pictures? You want me to WORK now..? Aw, come on man...! lol Take my word, it's a stupid setup.

    There's a steel door AND a mirror between the repeater and the router. I get 100 signal but only on a 2.4 wifi network. If these had cat-6 connections instead of wifi, It'd be way better lol

    Yeah, that would explain it. lol Also it's behind a steel door and a large mirror on my front closet. An electrician told me mirrors block signals? Not at all surprised if a steel door does, too!

    I might have had the I-frame interval set too high. i knocked it down from 60 to 25 as per your settings...lets see if BI can keep up with that at 30fps...

    I'm using BI5. I read your instructions for putting on hikvision firmware but I found it kind of scary. I like the idea of onvif, and I may take the plunge if BI keeps crapping out the db all the time on the higher settings, but I'm kind of scared and a little inexperienced, as we have seen.

    Yes I did. Thanks for the response. I can't believe no one else has seen this problem. As soon as anything gets too close to the camera, Blue iris locks up the ezviz cam and shows a connection loss. I have to reset it in BI then it's ok until the next intrusion SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP!!! lol
