    I'm not 100% sure here, but I think if you need to use login credietials for the nas you may need to map the drive and use the mapped drive in BI.

    Can you browse to the folder from your BI server? Maybe it isn't resolving the name of your NAS. Try replacing the name with the IP address.

    I agree, with the hidden cameras in web and app view. That is one reason I don't use the cloned cameras yet. If there isn't and I just haven't found or looked for it, there should be a way to hide the hidden cameras from things like web view and the mobile app.

    I'm not 100% sure, but wouldn't a cloned camera set for alerts work? Set the cloned camera hidden and it can send the alerts while the other camera is setup for motion record.

    I believe you need to create a copy of the same camera. The first camera can do the recording as you want and the second can be setup just for the alerts.

    Problem with trigger for recording

    Thanks fenderman. I had color only to help later in the day with the shadows and trees. I do have a home and away profile. The away profile has the alerts while the home does not. I'll try setting away to use color only and home to use color+brightness. That should give me the best of both worlds.

    Going from BI 4 64bit to 32bit

    I see a lot of talk and suggestions about running BI 4 32bit if you only have 4 or so cameras. Mainly due to the 32 bit being more stable. Is it just more stable or does it also use less cpu resources? Also, can I just export my settings in the 64 bit and import them to the 32 bit version?
