bidens incredible transition to electric cars

We most certainly do. Before cutting the pillars we pull the emergency response disconnect. We now do a class in electric vehicle extrication and obviously tesla is part of that. Tesla has emergency responder material. All of tesla emergency response guidelines can be found here...

    Pre Wire for a friend

Big update, actually mounted a few. Unfortunately I only had a few hours today. I was pleasantly surprised that the new mount bases are similar to that one above. Having installed residential and commercial cctv for a few years these were by far the best mount system I've seen. It had a base...

Auto Tracking PTZ for Lorex NVR

Hey Yall, I posted awhile back over in installs that I convinced a buddy to allow me to prewire. Luckily he did and we wired for 16 IP Cameras. 16! lol He doesn't live close, so I didn't go the BI and Empire route like I would have preferred. He bought a Lorex kit. I'm just happy he did ANYTHING...

    1. Tonyr, I love traffic systems so thats cool that you did that forever. Side Note, I just finished installing a GPS/Radio Based Traffic Pre-emptive system in our fire trucks, and the city is installing the street signal side obviously but it has made an incredible difference in the area of...

    Firefighters Versus A Locked Gate

Interesting stuff, surely that is not a private road that they went through. Pretty serious pre planning when they could just use google maps for measuring distances like that. ( Thats we use, it's easier and less labor. ) We carry 1,000 ft of supply hose. But, so do our other units so if...

Yeah I thought op was in the US so that's why I mentioned that. It's national standard to have the air gap cold or hot climate here. I'm beating a dead horse though. Look forward to seeing what the op does!!

    Cable running ideas

Ours is a little different in the usa here. Between the brick and the wood sheathing should be a one inch air gap. Not filled to allow moisture to weep and dry.

It's going to be difficult to run anything in the gap. It should have ties to the structure and mortar all over the place. Is the conduit down the edge and into the garage not wanted? Seems like the most sensible.
  28. Firefighter

    Cable running ideas

Yeah I agree. For the porch side, I would run it down the siding to brick transition just like the other side. Getting it around the corner behind the brick will be difficult but worth a try. If that doesn't work then the conduit maybe the last resort option.
