IPVM Releases Phone Version of Calculator

Would a smaller charge for the calculator not be an option? If you're worried that a large number of current members would downgrade to just the calculator then that's an indication that the primary website isn't providing value. Since you know it is in fact providing value, a smaller...

What dash cam are you using?

It's nice to see RING get into the dash cam scene for the fact that more people will be armed with one however, I think it's a terribly ugly design. It surely makes it obvious to others and maybe that's part of the point. I just picked up a new Dual Dash Cam locally. BNIB, It was $50 and I...

Will this work on this Amcrest nvr

Alright so I'm making a final decision. Based on my recent threads, just going with the 4k ip amcrest because its an indoor office environment. Heres the question, Can I split the system with a poe switch on the other side of the building if I get this nvr that has individual ports? So, this...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Thoughts on if I go amcrest 4k cams should I just get an amcrest nvr and forget the rest since this is a basic system indoors. I'm just using their 2.8 and varifocal amcrest cams. Would bi5 give me any benefits over the nvr that would make it worth it. Remember, it won't be networked at all...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Well... Since I'm not connected to the web, recording anything in the dark/night, not remote viewing etc... Why wouldn't I just get a Amcrest nvr? Currently, I'm going to have to buy a $400 24port poe switch etc... When I could just install a 16ch poe nvr and be done. Its just a back up in case...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Yeah for sure, Since I'll be using BI I want to utilize as much efficiency as possible. Although, I may be better off just creating a schedule and recording in 4k during business hours. I guess that is definitely something I need to consider. So, with the sensor size difference the 8mp is still...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Thank you, I will support Andy and still buy from him for where the scenario calls for it. But since there is no dark times in this commercial building I thought so. Thank you

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

So since I got all the big heads in here and I don't want to make a new thread, These are Indoor fully lit 24/7 office cameras. So, Light is not an issue. That being said, the 2.8 cameras will be covering large general common areas. For this reason, I want to know if there is a reason I...

    CMP Cable

Well, It seems im blind. Cable Wholesale seems to have everything I need. Anyone know if they are reputable? https://www.cablewholesale.com/products/network-phone/cat-6-cable-bulk/product-11x8-031th.php I'm going to leave this thread because nothing else showed up under search results for...

    CMP Cable

No results showed up when I searched CMP. I have to have CMP ( Plenum ) data wire for our small office, the area above the drop ceiling is all a return plenum for the hvac. Thus requiring CMP rated cable. It's proving difficult to locate true cmp, fully copper and in various colors. Monoprice...

    WD 14TB on BI

    WD 14TB on BI

I'm building our small office system and going with BI5 and currently using a sff dell optiplex 7050 with a i7 7700. Until I change the case we'll have 1 slot for an hd. It's been a decade and want to make sure these wd 14 pro are good to go. In the past we preferred smaller hd's because of...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

I still gotta put an ssd in and load windows. I just bought it from a local government auction for $40. Lol will do asap though. I bought a couple other 7050s but they had i5s in then which is still fine. Using one as my main desktop and the other will be a home BI5 build.

4k, varifocal and 80 bucks. Thoughts

Yeah I saw that but I was hoping it was cheaper. I'd much much rather have the varifocal for another $30. Thanks though. Just trying to get the company I work for started and I can slowly get better cameras. Really looking at the $80 4mp 2.8mm for now to cover entry doors and then in a few...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Yeah I'll pull it apart and double check but it should be a I7-7700

Dm sent. Thanks If I could get the 4mp in something other than 2.8 that would be great. Something like 6mm.

4k, varifocal and 80 bucks. Thoughts

Yeah for sure. Lol just a lapse in judgement Is there another indoor varifocal I should be looking at that is around 100? Just looking for a start, with an upgrade in the 2023 fiscal year. I'll move these cams around to other low priority areas

4k, varifocal and 80 bucks. Thoughts

Yeah it's going in an office with full lighting 24/7 so the night performance is irrelevant and zoomed in all the way.

4k, varifocal and 80 bucks. Thoughts

So I totally will be buying from Andy. But I came across this sale and was curious. INDOOR WELL LIT OFFICE USE ONLY. Varifocal would be perfect for the entry doors. Will he a blue Iris 5 machine. The reolink RLC-822A is $80 from 200. Only reason that makes me consider is the varifocal...

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

BI5 is good up to 64 cams right? I have a older Dell 7050 with an I7 I could bring in and use dedicated for cctv. Just get a poe switch and then I would also have the flexibility to use just about any camera I want. I'm sure they'd buy a machine but I'd rather put that money into cameras.

NVR for Small Office, this my best bet?

Yeah I'd use bi but being in an office setting I think I'd rather use an nvr. The 24 poe and 32 non poe have similar bandwidth limits but that should be fine. Being in an office setting I could do 4mp at the doors zoomed in and the open areas 2.8 8mp. Zero night is needed because it's in an...
