Hi Klunker, Unfortunately, it just looks like some basic IR reflection. How far away is that wall protrusion from the camera? Im not sure if thats causing the issue or not but possibly adding a wedge mount which would angle the camera more to the left would help. Before we go to that length...- Sean Nelson

What is the best option
As far as the difference between 4MP and 4K, if you plan on running a feed to a large 4K monitor, then I think you will like the difference in the 4K quality. However, if most of your TV's are 1080p, then 4MP is adequate. The 4K cameras just look better on a 4K monitor is all. The 4K's are...- Sean Nelson

Using the netgear genie app, i tested a -65 signal at my doorbell install location and it seemed to stream fine but seemed to take sometimes a few seconds for the video to pull up. This is most likely an internet explorer plugin issue. Whenever you enter into IE, right click on the icon, then run as administrator. Then try it. It should work as I just tried it on ours. Let me know if still no go.- Sean Nelson

Power shouldnt be the issue so I recommend not to use the resistor as that could cause more problems if you wire it incorrectly. Glad you found the issue. Pretty certain that has to be whats causing the issue. Thanks for all the reviews. We have shipped all doorbells out with the latest firmware which is dated 12012017 so at this point there is no need for anyone to upgrade as you already have the newest. We had another guy report that as well. Basically it opens the relay alot quicker than a normal doorbell push button does.
