    Yep, fingers crossed. For me, it seems that BLC is much better than HLC for facial identification @ night. Could vary with other models. Still doing a few tests with my new AI model. @looney2ns - lovely new videos. By any chance can we get some night shots where colour is being forced? ;)

    Update: Problem resolved after applying the port forward numbers from here (https://dahuawiki.com/Remote_Access/Remote_Access_Setup_Port_Forwarding) into my router :D. So far, stability has been stable :D.

    Ah that's a pity. Yep, hopefully @EMPIRETECANDY does work on getting SmartIR into the 2831 as the specs for the 2831 clearly says "SmartIR = Support" which is what we customers who bought the 2831 should be getting, so Dahua/Andy has to make it SmartIR available :D .

    Hey, I did you suggestion and turned on smart codec for the 4k camera IPC-HFW2831T-ZS. However, it automatically switches from CBR to VBR..Should I go ahead and switch back to CBR while smart codec is on ? and then set the bitrate to 8000+? sorry for the nuisance.
