Best way to plug 5/8 inch holes from pre-terminated cat5 cable runs?

Coax Seal is an option. Very pliable and waterproof, can be smoothed to a clean finish. Buy the Klein Cat tool and pass through connectors for any future runs, if I can do it anyone can :D Coax Seal can be found on Ebay in small (5 foot) qtys.

    Review Section

AFAIK it is all individual review threads. The best thing in my opinion is to establish a budget and specify what you are looking at and ask for feedback or inquire about better options to what you are considering. Make sure you read the Cliff Notes located at the top of the page under the WIKI...

    23AWG Cat 6 RJ45 passthrough connector recommendation

I like the Klein as recommended. The Klein did not work well with one specific cable I bought, there was a fraction of a difference and I used True Cable brand pass through to solve the problem. I started a thread and you can find it if you search. Found the thread. Working with Cat 5E vs. Cat...

    Non-technologically advanced looking for advice

One of the most important things you can do is start to learn the basics of computer networking. Just start searching and reading on IP addresses, subnet, etc I would say a significant portion of people here with issues is due to lack of networking skills. I was one of those, learning the...

    Non-technologically advanced looking for advice

I came here a couple years ago in the same situation. This worked well for me: order a single Dahua (EmpireTech Camera). I ordered the 2231 2MP varifocal which is still available in the Ipcamtalk store. Buy a BI License (and download to your PC) from the Ipcamtalk store, setup a test bench, all...
