    Build a faux birdhouse around the camera is another solution you might have not thought of, use a Milwaukee hole dozer saw bit sized for the front lens and it will blend in nicely.     :welcome: Having used both Synology and Blue Iris with Dahua cameras. BI was much easier to implement and setup. Synology PITA. Blue Iris, using default settings and the guides here almost plug n play.
