    Ya, that's true...I have a cam inside at the front door which I could use to trigger the 203 for "poor man's tracking"....but you're right...right now my 5231 is far too high to get a good face shot at the front door...I was also thinking the dual starlight WOULD give me a little more visibility...

    how do you guys like this cam vs. the "classic" 5231r-ze?....I know the 5231 major benefits are being varifocal and low-light...but I'm looking for cams with better image quality/higher MP res for next install...any thoughts? any other cam with higher MP you'd recommend?

    thanks! that did the trick...i unchecked "refresh external IP at startup..." because as a test I clicked REFRESH for the WAN and it throws in the external address, which of course I don't want...anything else needed to prevent the WAN address from getting refreshed anywhere else in Blue Iris?

    ok...deleted the rules...but when connected via VPN successfully, cant connect to BI...what do I need to do in BI web server settings to account for the new openvpn setup? ie. should "Enable the HTTP web server on port: ____" still be checked and a port put there?

    it's weird...just upgraded to Asus AC86U router...now when outside my home network, very very slowing loading the feeds from Blue Iris...any thoughts on what that might be?..not currently using the openVPN though I probably should...just port forwarded

    Hi! so, i have the PTZ being triggered by other cams, and it works great, but when it gets triggered and moves to a specified preset, it does not record anything there...instead it seems to sit there for a time, and then return to the preset defined in my PTZ cam schedule...can someone tell me...

    no luck resetting config...gonna have to roll back to April firmware....not finding it on the dahuawiki site...anyone have it? is it possible the PAL version might be better? should i try uploading that one? (the September 2018)
