    Practically all of our cameras do this particularly with higher zoom values. I believe its from using a range exposure and inherent iris control in the camera.     Did they change it? I never upgrade until I have to In playback click the little icon to the right of the date in the middle of the screen, Then check Intelligent to get only IVS. Or ALL to get the blue IVS lines within the green general recording

    I typically run very different profiles night and day on most of my cameras. And like you say, a true day/night schedule profile Daytime I'll run 0-2 exposure, sometimes WDR if necessary etc... Night almost always has to run a slower shutter for example

    What do you expect/want it to do at night that its not? Go to B&W? (you know it doesnt have and cant see IR right?) Do you have the Day/Night tab set to Black and White for Night?

    This is so basic I can't understand how people say it doesnt work? Please show me how this is difficult? How you setup the app and connect to the NVR/camera does matter however
