They just tried to assassinate Trump

To address #3, from my law enforcement experience, a number of people call after a short period of time out of concern when someone deviates from their normal pattern. While your suggestion is a possibility, there are also plenty of other reasons.

They just tried to assassinate Trump

My understanding is that local swat, not the secret service, had that location.

    NV41AI-8P-4K vs NV41AI-8P-4KH - Is there a difference?

Please help me see what I'm missing. I'm looking for a small NVR with POE and I think these would work. Other than the packaging, I cannot find any difference between the two. The specs seem identical other than the dimensions and the placement of the 2nd usb port. Is there something I'm...

EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder is Beeping

3rd times a charm. I tried a 3rd pair of drives and traded out the monitor for a different one. I was able to get the nvr up and running.

EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder is Beeping

I'll try more hard drives tomorrow. I suspect the unit should be able to run headless and the hdmi cable wouldn't keep the unit from booting but I'll try a different cable anyway. I would guess the board is just a specialized single board computer running a custom linux distro. The beeps would...

EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder is Beeping

Brand new AI NVR bought November 2023. The one in the link in the original post. HDMI connection for the monitor. Using the included plug in mouse. Initial setup. I got it and changed direction so it's sat in the box until now. I sent a message to them through the site explaining what is going...

EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder is Beeping

I switched over the hard drive to two other drives known to be good at the time they were taken out of the previous computer. I know they are getting power as I can feel them spinning. I switched out the SATA cables. I made sure everything was seated properly on the board. Still nogo. Still...

EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder is Beeping

The drives are NTFS formatted drives with data on them from their previous installation. They worked fine when they were last used. I'll switch them out and hopefully that'll fix the issue.

I have a EmpireTech NVR32CH-AI 32 Channels 1U 2HDD Network Video Recorder. I am trying to set it up. I have two 3tb hard drives installed. When I turn it on, nothing shows up on the screen and the nvr starts emitting beeps in 4 beep bursts. I cannot find anything about this in the manual. Is...

    EmpireTech 9th Anniversary (Summer)Sales

It's a big camera. It's 2-3x as big as the z12e. And the mounting bracket makes it look even bigger because of how far away it sits from the thing it mounts to. I'm not saying anything about the performance. Only that it would be tough to make it discreet.

There are 2 ways to get tickets. You can choose one, the other, or both. 1. If you've ever bought a camera before, you can buy 5 tickets at $5 each. 2. You get a "free" ticket for every camera you buy. If one of the cameras is a color camera, you get a bonus ticket. For example, lets say you...

    Ubiquiti Point to Point Questions

I think the part I'm confused about is what the 2.5x cost of the NS over the loco adds. The NS has an extra port and can run off of 802.3af/at compliant POE. Neither of those two are benefits to me. The NS has a little higher gain. But the power appears to be the same. I'm looking at the...

All the current cameras are set up on the outside at the front of the house. I'm able to access the attic in those areas to be able to run wires through the attic. I want to install cameras at the back of the house on the outside. I do not have access to that area to run wires through the attic...

    Ubiquiti Point to Point Questions

What I stated was true and not a mistake. PtP Wireless hardware is intended to be used with clear LoS. However, I'm relying on physics to assist me here. The signal will travel through obstacles and the obstacles will impact the signal to some degree, anywhere from minimal to severe. One of the...

    Ubiquiti Point to Point Questions

The extra port will be of minimal use in the original setup. I won't get any use out of it on the master unit. I could hook a camera up to it on the remote unit but that won't eliminate the need for a PoE switch for the other cameras. The only advantage might be if I use exactly 5 cameras. Then...

I'm looking span about 50 feet with my network and wired is not the best option. I've been trying to learn about PtP bridges to see what would fit my needs. The signal would be sent through 1 ceiling and 1 wall. The connection will handle traffic from 4-5 cameras, mostly 5442's and maybe a...

Yes, you said that. My point is that any company could produce a thing if they produced it. Saying they could really means nothing if they don't. They have one component out of many that are needed to accomplish the goad. They "could" but they don't.
