Make sure you are using a valid username and password. Also, try removing the :3244 after the ip and try again. If it still doesn't work, set the discovery port to 80 and see if that works. -

Problem is your discovery port. Set it to be the same as the camera's http port and Find/Inspect again. -

This is more than likely due to the plugin. Which browser are you using? Try using Internet Explorer or Firefox. -

When using ONVIF protocol, are you still able to use all features from the NVR with the cameras, like smart events, recording options, etc...? -

Try re-adding the cameras, change your discovery port to match your camera's http port and ensure a correct username and password are entered before using the Find/Inspect option.- djangel

Make sure your Discovery port in BlueIris is the same as your camera's http port. Also, use the OXML profile under the PTZ/Control. I'm almost certain that OXML = Onvif XML Also, make sure you are using the correct userid and password when using the Find/Inspect option in BI. -

Other options I know that can cause flashing lights like that is either EZVID Cloud (Network>Platform Access) and/or DDNS enabled. -

Is this a wifi capable camera too? If it is, more than likely is the wifi led, which at least with 5.2.5 firmware cannot be disabled. Don't know if newer firmwares have the option to do it. You can probably open the dome and cover the led with something (black tape, etc...). -

Under motion detection, wouldn't you need to enable Trigger Channel too? Try that and see if it works. -

v4.2.2.6 = Problem fixed!!! :loyal: but... preset values still need to be setup manually as preset_1, preset_2, etc... in the Edit Presets option (easy fix). -

Just go to the PTZ/Control tab, Edit Preset... and change the Name/Value to preset_1, preset_2, etc... -

Did you checked the Rules option in the cameras themselves? Do you mean the areas that are currently detecting motion? You can enable Dynamic Analysis for Motion under motion detection, but you will need the Rules option enabled. -
Video freeze in motion detection enabled
Match your normal stream and event stream FPS/bitrate in your NVR to the same and see if motion will still causes the freeze. Could be an issue with FPS/bitrate, CBR/VBR difference between modes causing the lag/freeze. -

Can somebody explain the resolution modes to me?
Definitely use 4:3 for 3mp resolution. 1mp (720) or 2mp (1080) are best viewed at 16:9 -

Is this a wireless cam? For testing, try lowering the resolution and/or fps at the camera's video settings and see if BI gets a signal then. -

I sent Ken the information I was able to gather and a few more things to troubleshoot the problem. He connected to the camera and this was his response: I think this will finally do. We'll see.
