My guess is that they stopped spot purchase because EU stopped buying Russian oil which was refined to Gasoline and other fuels that India was profiting from. They still have long term contract from Russia for their own domestic use. -

Some body on Tucker show said the US policy or contingency is to blow up TSMC plants in Taiwan incase China decides to invade Taiwan. Don't think US manufacturing cost will be different then Taiwan, since it's mostly automated and require highly skilled engineers. -

So a 50% tariff, not sure whats exempted but lot of pharmaceutical products comes from there, expect Vitamins, Anti Acid and whole lot of other cheap generic drugs to become more expensive. Even if they stop buying Russian oil, the gas prices will shoot up here. So nothing good is going to... -
