    Question: Replace my current camera?

This seems to be available on the site now (Aliexpress.com - Online Shopping for Electronics, Fashion, Home & Garden, Toys & Sports, Automobiles and more), but the specs are saying the following: Minimum Illumination(Lux): 0.07Lux @ (F1.2, AGC ON) ,0 Lux with IR Where the HIKVision link shows...

    abnormal network....

You say 'changed the ip on the camera and match it with the IP on the NVR', do you mean the NVR and Camera are both 192.168.1.20? If this is the case then this will not work, all devices must have a different IP address if on the same segment of the LAN. They should be on the same subnet though...

How to setup Hikvision DS-2CD2042WD-I 4mm IP Camera on the DS-7716NI-SP/16 8 Channel NVR

Is the DS-2CD2042WD-I a Chinese copy or local stock. I've only had a issue with one camera which was a Chinese import and that was resolved by doing a setting the camera to factory settings and connecting it to my POE ports, where it auto configured.

NVR for Dahua IP Cameras - Recommendation

If you're using Dahua cameras then stick with this brand for the NVR. I don't know much about these, but go for a large channel one. I know you think it'll only be four cameras for now, but you don't want to get down the line and want to add another, with this you will not be able to.

Is there a mask to get the trim back onto a HIKVISION turret?

How did you resolve it as I'm still puzzled.

Is there a mask to get the trim back onto a HIKVISION turret?

Taken the camera down and tried it to no avail. The lugs on the cover are slightly scuffed, but nothing looks bent/broken. If I release the camera from the mount cover completely I can get it to go on, but other then that..

    Hik 2155F-IS pan tilt rotate??

Does the lens itself not rotate too, my HIKVision dome allows that. It is stiff, but does move to bring the image level.

    best smart thermostat ?

The Tado is a direct replacement for the Thermostat and I have the optional Extension box and that was a direct replacement for my timer unit. This is in the UK, so not sure about anywhere else. Works great, but yes you are dependent on an Internet Connection.

    best smart thermostat ?

I use Tado and love it. I do only have a basic heating setup, but works really well for the water and central heating.

Meth head tries to rob my car and home.

Do you have to have the app connected to the BI instance all the time, either through VPN or Port forwarding? As for HIKVision NVRs you do need that connectivity.

What does BI push it to? The BI app or something else? Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

Meth head tries to rob my car and home.

I'd be interested to know as for HIKVision I believe the App has to be in contact at all times.

    Dyn vs NoIP?

I used NO-IP for a few years before getting a static IP and you do need to confirm it every 30 days. Even if you miss it and it 'expires' you still have a grace period to re-enable it before it get's blown away forever.

Wireless LCD Monitor for IP Camera - Recommendations?

I think a cheap tablet mounted in some sort of frame would be best for this. I believe that user @nayr has done this already.

    increasing camera number in NVR

Hi, You are limited to the number of Channels that the NVR supports, so your 16 Channel NVR can only support 16 Cameras. These can be a mix if LAN and POE Port (if you have them on the NVR) connected cameras, but you can still only have 16. Paul

Assistance adding a new Hik camera on my 7604

Does your NVR have built in POE ports or are you connecting the cameras through the LAN? If it has POE ports then you can try factory resetting the camera before you return the cameras. I had a similar issue with a Chinese camera with my NVR, but once I factory reset it, it just popped up...

iVMS-4200 Doesn't See My Old or New Hikvision Cameras

You're saying you're NVR is not connected to your network? If it's just the NVR and camera connected to the POE ports then you'll not be able to connect to it via a browser or the mobile apps. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk

iVMS-4200 Doesn't See My Old or New Hikvision Cameras

I had a similar issue when I bought an NVR and two cameras. One was a All Region model and connected using plug and play, the other one was a chinese import and would not connect. All I did was reset the camera using the button inside and then it just connected via plug and play. Not sure if...
