    Camera Configuration Question

Gotcha, does that include the resolution? Even though BI doesn't list the resolution of 1920 x 1080? Thanks!

    Camera Configuration Question

In BI, we have the option of specifying a resolution for each camera under the Video section, but I have noticed that the resolutions there do not match what my cameras can do. Meaning my 3MP cameras can do 1920x1080@30FPS and higher at 15FPS. What I have been doing is typing in the resolutions...

    I made a better remote-live-view page [OLD]

Hmm, I can't get any of the pages to work. i used to use the ui2.htm but it loads up blank. No matter what I try to do it no longer shows the video streams. I thought it might be broken. Any suggestions on how to resolve the issue or more information I can try to provide. Worked great with BI3...

Blue Iris Tools - Weather Overlay, Watchdog & more!

I know you'll be working on it when you can, but I just wanted to say that it seems like there is an issue with BI Tools and version 4 with the watchdog or something. Whenever I launch the tools it starts a service cycle relaunch of Blue Iris 4 until the system simply stops responding. This...

    BI 4 Error Windows SErver 2012 R2 x64

I found the resolution. For those that are having the same issue: The desktop shortcut is pointing to an admin shortcut (BlueIrisAdmin.exe). If you change the shortcut to (BlueIris.exe) and run as administrator it should startup just fine.

    Server Choppy Issues

6 cams @ 1920x1080 1 cam @ 1280x720 1 cam @ 640x480 Most of them are 3MP Cameras, other than the Foscam, I assume they all record at that though I might not have them all at maximum because I wanted to get 30 frames and running at max resolutions is something like 15fps. So lets say, around 12...

    Server Choppy Issues

It's a E5450 Xeon. The i7-960 wouldn't be fast enough? Not worried on the power consumption. I guess that AMD qouldn't cut it either, it's the latest one they released, not sure they have any faster ones. Was trying to keep the cost down and get a system specifically to run BI and the cameras.

    Server Choppy Issues

Hi all, I am coming here to get some help and some feedback on Blue Iris and it's recordings. I currently have 6 IP cameras attached to a server running BlueIris. The first issue I am having is that video doesn't start recording for a few seconds after something comes into the view of the...

    Windows PC configuration question

I have the same issue. I am running a system with a Xeon E5450 3.0GHZ and 8 Megs of RAM and the system is basically pegged at 100% with 6 cameras. I am not sure if it is economical to purchase a new system with a faster CPU and more memory. The system I am using now is a Dell Poweredge T300. I...

    Accessing BlueIris via HTTPS

Hi, I just got BlueIris setup a while ago and I got it open through my Firewall to access it from around the world. The issue I am having is if there is a way to setup blueIris to only allow HTTPS connections to it's Web Server? Right now it is just normal old HTTP and packets can be captured...
