The 4M-T is the new 3449 Pro, but is there a mapping of what all the above map to? Which one is the 54Pro? And the older 4k-t has a 1/1.2 sensor, but these newer ones have 1/1.8, so technically isn’t that, while older, better for low light given the bigger sensor? Software helps, but hardware... -

That’s odd as my new TIOC is significantly better than my 5442 (s3 variant) at low light. This seems to be worse and makes this whole new lineup worthless to me. -

How does the existing dual lens compare to the current TIOC one? I have one of those and it's honestly been nothing short of incredible for lowlight performance and overall image quality. I'm spoiled now and don't really want to buy any other cameras that would be a downgrade. -

I enabled the overlay and mine is sitting at 131* F (55* C). While it's indoors, I am using the recessed mount, so it's half in the attic, although under 18" of blown in insulation. Looking at the Dahua datasheet, it says the operating temperature is up to 65* C, so I've got 10* of headroom... -

Isn't "general" just another profile, just like "day" and "night"? The way you wrote it, you make it sound like "general" is equivalent to the "day/night" profile that the non-PTZ cameras have, but when configuring profiles you can actually select a "general" profile instead of a day or night... -

Do you really need a surge protector for POE cameras?
So you’re just tying it to the existing structures electrical ground? You are NOT pounding in a ground rod and connecting the Ethernet surge protector to an EARTH ground? I’ve been trying to get this answer, and everyone just says grounding it, but that term is unfortunately too vague / broad...- fnhanks

Yea that was the exact one I was looking at (the blaster) and half the reviews said most of the LEDs burned out after a few months to a year. Have you had any issues like that? For the little spot one, half the reviews said it didn’t do anything past 15ft. Has that been your experience?- fnhanks

Just got bit by this as well. None of my cameras were recording for the last 4 days. Downgraded to 5.4.3 and everything is now working as it should.- fnhanks
