Update to my original problem here. This time I tried using the main Admin account instead of the 2nd admin account that I set up and what do you know it works. Well I have an M4 chip so are you saying SmartPSS won't work for me? I was adding the NVR by the IP, not using the SN. Not sure if that matters.- Chase

DMSS notification display question
The channels are assigned names from inside the NVR. The cameras are connected to external switches. -

Does anyone know if there’s a way to have the camera name I set display instead of “Channel 6”? I’ve searched all over the app and NVR but maybe I’m missing this somewhere. -

So I just switched from cable to frontier fiber optic now using the Eero Pro 6e mesh system. On my old setup I was using the Asus RT-AC1750 router which has the built in OpenVPN server. I want to keep using OpenVPN so I can keep my cameras offline from the internet and not port forward them... -
