    What was the idea behind the new router? Does this router perform routing as without that you’ll have a hard time if you are going to keep devices on your “home network”?

    I’ve just yesterday setup another gmail address as the sending email which now sends to another gmail address and it’s all working and I can now see new emails in the inbox. Pity I need to use one to send to another but as I said it’s just a quirk of gmail minimising duplicate emails/data.

    Arggghhh it’s still happening, the mail is visible in the inbox for a few hours and then seems to be moved to the All Mail folder even though it’s not been read. Looks like I’ll be doing lots of googling today hoping I find the cause but at least I now know where to look for these emails.

    I send to the same gmail account, so effectively sending to the same account. Could that be an issue or problem with doing that?

    I checked storage which shows 0Gb of 15Gb being used. As I said I created a new email account just for alerts. Strange but I got some email alerts this evening so it might have started working. No changes made so pretty strange.

    I’ll check that but I set the email up just for BI alert emails. Tested both from within the main BI email settings and from within a cam and both emails came through yet my daughter and son leaving this morning and no emails even though the BI log shows that it sent something?

    What are prices like for an 8th gen, I always regarded that as a sweet spot last year as I think I’m still correct in stating that it is W11 compatible if you need to or are force to do so.

    A POE switch, network cables and a laptop/PC, this should allow you to set the cams up and determine if they are working. Once you’ve established that they work fine you can then take it from there as to what you want to do.
