    Dahua Smartpss

You plug that port into the Poe switch where your cameras are plugged into or into ur router. As long as the nvr is on ur network and the cameras.

Someone Please Help Me Get My Ptz Cameras setup on my Dvr. I'll even PAY!!!

Shock, he has mentioned they are all IP PTZ's so most likely the preset 95 is not going to work. He needs to access the web interface and figure out the username and password. There's a chance if he does know what it is and it's very long, the dvr might need it shorter.

You mentioned you can view the PTZ if you enter the IP in your browser. When you do that, what username and password do you use? That's what you have to enter in the dvr

Someone Please Help Me Get My Ptz Cameras setup on my Dvr. I'll even PAY!!!

As I mentioned before, with other hybrid DVR's, I have to disable an analog channel in order to add an IP camera. Have you looked into that?

    Dahua Smartpss

What are your specs on your PC that you chose to use software on your PC to record your cameras? Honestly, for me, a Linux based NVR is so cheap these days, I would prefer an NVR and let my PC log into it remotely. I hate relying on windows to run 24/7 recording my cameras. Smart PSS will work...

Also, you said the cameras are plugged into your router? I am sure your router is not POE. How are you powering these PTZ's?

I don't know about ur DVR, but most hybrids require you to disable an analog channel before you can add and IP camera. Also, you can try to plug your IP PTZ's into ur network and install an IP scanner on ur PC and make sure they are even on your same network.

I usually end up using this one and it has never failed me. If you need more than four ports POE, two of these are still cheaper than a bigger POE switch. Micro Center - Computers and Electronics

Dahua NVR motion triggering simultaneous recording on all channels

I do not recommend using PC-NVR. I have tried using it in the past, and even Dahua tech admits it's not great. For the price of a Linux based Dahua NVR, it's so worth just using and NVR.

Dahua NVR motion triggering simultaneous recording on all channels

I have been noticing this also. On the timeline I see all the cameras recording pretty much the same time. Not all the time, but often. The channel is set correct, not what FastB is thinking. He's not saying the same camera is showing up in each channel.
