    I got mine working again earlier by basically doing the same thing you suggested except I went further and restored the original appsettings.json file and 3.3.4 and then started over. During the reinstall I did notice a "response timeout" error.

    There’s something wrong with this release. I updated from v1.0.0 and now I’m not getting any license plate captures.

    It’s working much better than the old module. As previously mentioned it requires much less CPU processing and as an added bonus it seems to have resolved the memory leakage I was experiencing.

    It's an Intel(R) UHD Graphics 770 and the speeds do seem noticeably faster. Also, the processing requirements are significantly less.

    Hi Mike, thanks for sharing this! First impression was it almost works too well. I had to raise my min confidence % because it was picking up characters that weren't there. I changed it from 60 to 70 and it seems to be working well on a CPU only system.

    I experienced the same thing when I tried to update from 5.9.9.87 to 5.9.9.88. After several retries it finally updated and has been fine since. Anyway, if you can't get it to update you might want to just download the update and do a manual install. You can find the updates here...

    This must be an android issue because I’m not having any issues on iOS. Have you reported it to BI support? EDIT: From the response of others it doesn't look like this is a widespread app OS specific issue. You must have something else going on.

    When I opened BI the update dialog box opened and regardless of which button I clicked on the application just closed. I tried it several times and it finally worked.

    That is because you have the custom license-plate model enabled . This will only tell you if a license plate was detected (DayPlate/NightPlate), it does not read the plate. It is not needed if you are doing ALPR.

    No, but you do need more zoom on the plate so the application can work.

    Mine is set to 200K and I have 47K + records. Retention is set to 12 months. Not sure why you would want a 30 year retention period.
