    Over a month later and my Dahua NVR has been silently sitting in the closet recording all the cameras. No reboots yet. So it looks like the firmware upgrade solved the issue.

    I've got the camera mounted right over the door. I used 1/2 electrical PVC to run the wire into an accessible wall. I used a Dahua junction box to mount the camera. Turned out reasonably well.

    I have not had any reboots so far since upgrading while running 9 Dahua cameras. So it seems to have helped. When you upgrade, reset everything to defaults and reconfigure it all. It sounds like a pain (and it is), but I worry the firmware upgrades don't migrate well so you could get...
