    Test do not guess ! take the camera down and use a short (1-6ft) premade store purchase cable and connect the camera directly to the POE switch. Connect the BI computer directly to the POE switch. TEST.

    one UPS for the BI PC. One UPS per POE switch. I use really old 500-600 APC ups that I can easily replace the batteries. I also have another non switching UPS double conversion for other very import house equipment. This type of UPS is expensive.

    You need to known the IP address to remote connect to a network. On a cell network this address keeps changing. Look at ngok or Hamachi for remote access to a home cellular network (I have NOT used these) .

    It looks good. Just leave it as it is. Reformatting the drive is not necessary. If it is working do not fix it. Reformatting, Changing the cluster size, will improve the performance a little bit. It will reduce disk wear a little.
