The camera does work through the original DVR that it came with. Not sure what else I can do. I tried another camera with the exact same results...

    So am I correct in that getting the best intel processor with 8Gb ram an SSD for the operating system and HHD for the storage is the best soulution. I think I’m catching on here.

    Yes and no, yes I used the ip utility changed the IP address and gave it a password. I get no video in chrome as well. It seems to me it is communicating but just no video. Does the Q-See brand camera matter. Maybe not compatible. What about the port number? What port should I be using.
