    IP Address Change

Think the original AT&T router address was 192.168.1.254 and that would solve the problem? Would it change how I login to the router?

    IP Address Change

Just one TP router now. All the IP addresses automatically changed with the TP router for both tv's, nvr, 2 printers, 2 computers, except for the Duhua camera. Here is a photo of the media cabinet I set up. The large black cable in port 1 of the TP router goes to a POE switch in the attic...

    IP Address Change

    Lost Cameras With New TV

It is connected by Ethernet. Think the problem has to do with me adding another router. Currently internet is by att dsl modem router. Added a second TP wifi 7 router.. Set Att router to passthrough to new router. The TP router connects to a Net Gear 12 port switch. The cameras are wired...

    Porch Camera IPC-E3241F-AS-M

Want to add an additional camera to watch our front door entry. Thinking of using the IPC-E3241F-AS-M. Which is better, 2.8 or 3.6 lens? Porch is about 30 square feet and distance to sidewalk is about 18 feet. Would like to use a door bell camera, but don't have a door bell, just a twist...

    Conncting NVR to Network

Currently my NVR is connected directly to one TV and wirelessly to my Apple computer with SmartPSS. Would like to add it to all the household TVs. My current modem router setup feeds two switches. One switch is POE and feeds the cameras. The other switch feeds all the Cat6 lines. Can I just...

Have bought all my cameras and DVR from Andy at Empire Tech. When I asked Dahua about a specific camera they said it was not a Dahua North American product. What are the differences between the two, if any?

Duhua 4MP TiOC Network Eyeball Camera 2.8mm

There are so many camera models I don't know which ones to consider. Need one to cover parking space about 30 feet from house, and another to cover a carriage house entry about 20 feet from house. Currently have only the one Duhua IPC-T5442T-ZE covering the front yard on an 8 channel NVR with...

    Door Video Camera

Being as I don't have a door bell, what would be a good small camera for the front door? Do any of the doorbell cameras record to my Dahua NVR5208-4KS2, to a mobile app, or TV?

    Dahua N43BU82

Just saw the new TiOC 4MP Eyeball camera by Dahua, N43BU82. The camera has two-way talk for a quick way to communicate with other visitors or unwanted guests. It also provides a pre-recorded audio message in the event there isn’t anyone available to speak to in real-time, and records in black...

Having numerous problems with the NVR OS. Time is always off 1 hour and if changed manually it always goes back to the wrong time even though saved. Doesn't matter if DST is selected or not. Problem with date format, selected day month year and saved, but month day year shows. Won't let me...

I have a Dahua NVR5216-4KS2, which I specifically ordered as I did not want the noise of the cooling from the built in POE's. I have two fanless POE switches in my closet for that, they run cool. I did replace my fans, not because I had to, but because I wanted a pull-push system in the case...

Thanks. I searched for fan replacement with no luck so far. It is probably a simple task to replace.

Have a look around the Dahua thread. There's a way to quiet the fan down. If I remember correctly it involves changing the fan to a different one, but it isn't hard or rocket science. A PC with BI would be the best solution, IMHO. Far more versatile and won't consume any more power than an...

Finally was able to get the N52B2P NVR delivered. Will need to return it though, the recorder is just too noisy. You can hear the fan running two rooms away. Dahua makes great cameras, for some reason they can't make a quiet NVR. Any recommendations for a replacement. Would just run Blue...

Now I am considering the Dahua T5442TM-AS-LED in place of the T5442T-ZE to cover the driveway. Do not see it for sale anywhere except for Amazon.
