EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE and Blue Iris Configuration

Yup much of this is all new to me. I am using BI motion sensor ATM. The IVS rules option peaked my interest but I confess I know nothing about it. In the meantime I'll just keep my 810A running till I get this figured out. Thanks for your input.

EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE and Blue Iris Configuration

Definitely having some growing pains with this camera which is replacing a Reolink RLC_810a at the exact same location. The live camera feed itself is working fine but BI triggers for certain smaller objects is lacking. People walking by the end of my driveway often don't even trigger a motion...

EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE and Blue Iris Configuration

Well that didn't work. The camera arrived today in a plain carboard box with no documentation. I plugged it in and found the IP but no idea what to use for username/password. Tried the Find/Inspect with the IP and without. Nothing worked. Is there documentation online for this unit?

EmpireTech IPC-T5442T-ZE and Blue Iris Configuration

From reading threads here I know other people have this camera and I assume have it working with BI. If so, what configuration (Make, model, port, stream, etc.) are you using? My camera arrives today and, given BI doesn't not specifically have an EmpireTech list under the Config/Make dropdown...

Triggering a Group Camera with AI Enabled

At night time I have the 810A set to Continues record and Trigger motion enabled. AI had been disabled because remote triggers failed to record the alert. So I thought. I did not know about the Cancelled alerts option Just checked it out and I think this may do what I need. Thanks for the info.

Triggering a Group Camera with AI Enabled

I was aware that BI and Reolink was not ideal but until now did not really understand why. Thank you for your detailed explanation. That said, regardless of the camera used, my question relates to BI and the AI combination. Specifically, externally triggering an alert on a camera regardless of...

Triggering a Group Camera with AI Enabled

My BI "Frontyard_group" consists of three cameras (CodeProject.AI enabled), all which work perfectly fine during daytime hours. The problem is at night with one of the cameras (Reolink RLC-810A). It will pickup cars no problem but often (but not always) miss people walking by. The other two...

    BI V5 Licensing Issues

The Key is at least 2+ years old. Bought it directly fromthe BI website. I have a key for V5 but when I enter it it says that is just a support/maintenance key that expires this June 2020

    BI V5 Licensing Issues

From time to time I find myself looking at BI videos or snapshots with big bold red letters indicating that my version is a Demo install. I re-enter my license key and the problem goes away (until next time). In the last year this has happened at least 3 times even though my license is good till...

Latest BI update 15 October 2019

It appeared that the late Tuesday Oct 15 fixed the problems noted above however. As of 10:05 AM EST today the message "Blue Iris Evaluation Version" " is back. There has not been any recent updates nor have I made any changes. All my previous recording prior to this date and time are fine...

BI 5: Run as Windows Service errors

I have used the above option since I first purchased BI v4 well over 1 year ago. Recently I disabled this option and upgraded to V5. After several days I realized I had not re-enabled this option. I did so last night and all went really bad. All my cameras stopped recording and the Status log...

Help with BlueIris 5? Their support ignores my messages

Did you by any chance have the option "Settings/Startup/Run as a Windows Service" enabled? The minute I check this option (& reboot) all recording stops and the Status log shows the error "Disk not ready".
