The 2mp version will have a better image at night. The 4mp version will have a better image during the day. -

If you open it up, you should check the surface mount capacitors for short(use the beep function and see if any of those caps is beeping). In the past, I have managed to repair two cameras with shorted capacitors. -

Do not update the firmware from Dahua, you will lose auto tracking. -

What type of limits you are looking for, vertical or horizontal. I'm not aware of horizontal limits on these cameras. -

The thing is, that the older model had those numbers as well. I had the 59225, before this new one. The difference is actually in the letters. -

Those are two different cameras, no? How that worked, without bricking it? PTZ should have another firmware. These cameras have 2 firmwares.
