    So, I'm not so lucky, with each firmware newer than the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_NP_V4.000.0000000.1.R.20190809, I'm not able to get the substreams, my cameras are around, on the network, not directly connected to the NVR's inbuilt PoE switch (FWIW)

    @van313371 Are you able to get the sub-strems, via NVR web UI, or via SmartPSS, with V4.000.0000001.2.R.20191101 firmware ?

    If your NVR is NVR5XXX-4KS2 , I'd suggest to use the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.0.R.20190930.bin, the 1.1 and 1.2 versions seem pretty buggy

    @MakeItRain I haven't been able to get any sub-stream, with this firmware (gDMSS, SmartPSS, and not even with I.E. or I.E. tab), only the main stream. I too reverted to 2019-08-09 version.

    Brief test, not able to get camera's sub-streams from NVR, IPC's aren't hooked up directly to the NVR, are around, but in the same network/VLAN. Same issue as previous firmwares, reverting back to V4.000.0000000.1.R.20190809 solves.

    @Wildcat_1 I've tested the DH_NVR5XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.000.0000001.1.R.20191016.bin on some 5208/5216's, but I was referring to the NVR 4XXX-4KS2 (which ends with 1.3), not the 5XXX-4KS2 (which ends with 1.1), unless you have the 1.3 for the 5XXX series ...:)

    @!NoName! Not tested other things, but I use, curl -s --globoff --digest --user <user>:<password> "http://a.b.c.d/cgi-bin/devVideoInput.cgi?action=autoFocus" For auto-focus via cron-job, and it still work

    Mmm ... not able to get sub-streams of the cameras from NVR , reverted back to previous fw, sub-streams ok.

    Not tested in deep yet, but noticed a couple of things, it asks to install the plugin for the video previews in the AI events, and the PEAP, using dot1x, seems not working anymore, I switched to EAP-TLS (creating and loading cert and key), NVR successfully authenticated.

    I mean, are the cameras hooked up directly to the NVR ? If yes, didi you try by connecting a laptop to the inbuilt swicth of the NVR, set a static ip address consistent (eg.10.1.1.100 ?), and try to connect the cameras on their shown ip address ?

    Can you edit the camera, in the NVR menù, using the old NVR's password ? Of course if you have forgot the old password .... :) You may have to reset the cameras as well, since the cameras may take the NVR password, when associated to the NVR (with old version, you can try with admin admin, but...

    I too didnt see the 'Algorithm authorization expired, please update license' message, moreover, the 'IVS as well as the 'Face detection', seem working fine (to be honest, these features were working even with the pre-loaded firmware). @betogar Did you try a factory-reset ?
