Sorry I don't follow the suggestion on going premium, CCTVCam. Is the concern that a splitter would be used? Or the model of splitter? I hope the wattage will be okay, as I have a PTZ camera drawing 12.5 to 16W on another port. -

I am thinking of getting this Axton model 11e using 10 degrees for 540 feet, which uses PoE, but am wondering if an AC adapter can be used in lieu of getting a splitter for PoE? My camera now draws less than 3W, so this 11W IR emitter should be okay with my Ubiquiti PoE port... -

You have a great view of the street. I would suggest zooming as much as possible so as to still capture both lanes. Go out to 200-250 feet, and don't worry about the gutters. You just need the plates, and the two plates ought not be more than 15' apart from each other. -

So the DB was repaired yesterday, and today there's no clips or alerts listed. I just now reverted back to version 5.6.5.9, and will try again at repair. -

Not sure why, but the alerts and clips disappeared again and had to be restored by repairing the database. There was no update since 5.6.6.1, or any changes, so it's a mystery why the database gets lost. -

In my case, the problem happened after an update to BI, and repairing the DB didn't help until I updated BI again the next day to the newest critical update (5.6.6.1), deleted the DB folder, and then repaired the DB again. -

Have your home automation trigger BI. Use the BI's On Alert function to send an email to your upcoming PushOver.net account. It can use email to send out a text message. I also use the same On Alert function to email me an image of the gate opening. No need for UI3. -
