OMG !! It appears that it is now working !!!!! I had disabled uPnP and it started working. I then enabled uPnP again and it still was working. What the !! Can anyone tell me why it is defaulting to port 30208 for HTTP external in screenshot attached ? It just picks a random available port... -

OK, I might be getting close. I just deleted the NVR from my hik-online account and added it back again. What does the 'Platform effective port' mean in the pic below ? I have also disabled uPnP but it hasn't helped (it did eventually, probably needed some time to kick in. See post below) -

I mostly use the web GUI interface for NVR/cams rather than iVMS-4200 because the video doesnt display properly in iVMS. See screenshot - the image is not fully filling up the frame, if you understand what I mean. -

Gmail has issues with non-secure app You need to go into your account settings for that gmail account and enable access for less secure apps. You dont need to know Chinese. The Chinese firmware cameras are 'hacked' to be multi-language and English is one of the languages. I am using 8 of them with no problem. Just be careful not to update firmware otherwise it will revert back to Chinese language firmware. I am talking about 3MP IP... -
