    You need to provide a separate static IP address to each of the cameras, outside of the DHCP range provided by your Router. Also for the NVR.

    I've seen this before when a user deletes all the motion detection grids, then it doesn't record.

    I would enable DHCP on each camera, so they will be allocated correct within the DHCP range of the router and correct gateway details. Once each camera is accessible, by all means change the IP to static or outside of DHCP range if required.

    Such a difference in the amount of light to the lens and clarity by removing the glass cover. Okay to do on a internal camera. I'm sure the external glass or even plastic on some cameras can reduce the lens efficiency/clarity.

    Decided to utilise a old 6MP Dahua 4631EM-ASE as a internal garage camera. Hadn't used it for some years. Even after 2 days it still misted up. I guess the unused period and condensation package as standard, was no longer beneficial. Heated lens glass and removed. All sorted! Please don't moan...

    I've seen this problem your experiencing. When you have motion detection setup as well as IVS setup to be recorded. It seems to cause a clash with motion recordings. I'm guessing you don't have any other recording schedule setup as per the basic indication of the Smart PSS screenshot. Perhaps...

    I think in the XVRs system UI under system- maintain/network/online user. You block a user. Perhaps this may assist or not.

    Oh sorry that didn't work. I know that some cameras in the past you had to use a preset 95 command via the PTZ controls, to access the OSD. Good luck.

    If you display 1 camera on the display. Then use the PTZ control and press iris +. It should bring up the camera menu.

    I understood that the Smart Search is just for standard motion detection. Within the defined area that you create. So just shows any motion detection within the frame you have created.
