    Well, right now BI console is showing 18% with lots of fluctuations. Task manager Performance is showing CPU at 10%. TM Processes is showing 9% overall and BI at 8.7%. TM's Details is has BI fluctuating from 12 to 21%. I'm running 6 cameras so I'm not complaining, but I can't find any other...

    Thanks to Direct to Disk recording and hardware acceleration I've got my CPU usage down to a very low number. Question is why am I seeing 20% in BI console and 10% in Task Manager? Also, I saw a post stating increased CPU usage after upgrade to ver. 4.5.0.0. I actually saw a decrease.

    While my Hikvision cameras do well with HA activated, I have 2 Geovision cameras that are exhibiting video tearing. How can I override HA on a per camera basis until I can determine the reason? I assume it's on the video tab, but what setting?

    So you are saying the update from the website is handled differently than the letting the BI program do the update? I was under the impression that doing an update just added one file to the program and it could be found and identified. And removed if roll back needed.

    When BI downloads an update file where does it put it? I assume the file name would include the word "update" or the update version number. So, if you later wanted to roll back to previous version you would just delete the update file, and replace it with an older one?

    That worked, thanks. I'm now getting alerts on motion. My bitrate is set to 4096Kbps max on variable and I'm getting manageable file size. Does that sound like a good compromise? guess I had it backwards. FPS and resolution must affect bandwidth, right?
