    Well, in Dahua NVR4208-8P-4 it has 8 PoE ports for cameras and 1 port for LAN (non-PoE). So it has two subnets, default 10.1.1.x for PoE-switch and then for example 192.168.1.x for LAN. Dahua can find the cameras in both subnets, I don't know how it is with Hikvision.

    Today tested also to save DAV files directly in NVR ui to USB stick. NVR saves continuous record and motion record in different files, but when played on PC with Armcrest SmartPlay, it goes flawlessly trough the motion, does not pause, does not skip, just nice!

    Yes, that's what I think also, that it is the player which is faulty. By the way, same happens also when you download a clip from SmartPSS. My Web UI does the skipping also (Firefox), the only one doing only small pause is NVR.
