Yes, joystick control works for pan/tilt, but where is zoom in horizontal mode? I have to switch to vertical mode to get (+) and (-) buttons visible. Also it is not possible to control pan/tilt/zoom with finger gestures anymore. I'm using Android. -

1. seems to happen only with my home XVR5216AN-X-16P. When there is a notification from other NVR, there is a playback button. -

There was also new limit of 32 online cameras and 10 minute time limit for p2p cameras live play in that 07.0.R version. -

Odd thing is also that there was version General_SmartPSSLite_MultiLang_Win64-Install_IS_V1.003.0000007.0.R.240919.zip downloadable from Dahua website in october, but now the old SmartPSSLite_MultiLang_Win64-Install_IS_V1.003.0000006.0.R.240517.zip is back again... -

This is indeed a problem I found out also couple of weeks ago when installing a system for a customer. He has an old laptop with 1366x768 resolution and indeed SmartPSS Lite does not scale right. Part of the bottom window is outside the screen and only way to use it is just to quess where to... -

It seems to be the still the same. Can't order push notifications with regular user permissions. Have to check what option needs to be ticked to get that permission. EDIT: it's NETWORK and SECURITY. Good points indeed @steve1225 ! Haven't thought about the possibility of mobile client leak. In some cases they are indeed logged in as admin. Only 1/5 of these has smartpss installed, so mobile client could be the culprit here.- oh6hfx

Just found out this week that some of my customers NVRs were probably hacked. Two are clearly hacked: users vclubsql and roman have been added. Three cases are unclear: updates and config users have been added. Does NVR add config+updates itself during update or could those been hacked as well...- oh6hfx

I have been in touch with Dahua support, there should be coming an update regarding speed adjustment later. Don't know why they did take it off in the first place... -

NVR continually contacts many Dahua Websites
It's the same also with DMSS. Once I installed the app in my phone which is connected in my home wi-fi, firewall blocked my phone because of too many sessions open. Thanks! Looks good software - tough it does not support P2P. Found another new limit in new SmartPSS lite: 10 minutes continuous live view and then stream is closed. -

Seems that in new 30. september 2024 update SmartPSS max channel limit is reduced to 32. However, it means online channels, so if you have devices added in SmartPSS lite that more than 32 channels total online, all devices which add up over 32 are disconnected. Yes, I got push notifications working again with DMSS. P2P needs to be enabled in NVR if you don't want to open ports in your router. -

Seems that from today my gDMSS plus notifications have stopped. Last one was 00.20 at night. Tried to reorder notifications but no help. Live video from NVR is working though. Time to start to use DMSS then. -

Seems also that after one of latest updates there is no longer ability to adjust PTZ control speed in DMSS. Can be sometimes very tricky to steer camera accurately. -

I have done some thorough investigation and found a reason why channel 7 was not appeared in AI search! Storage -> schedule -> snapshot -> event has to be enabled. As AI Search shows snapshots, apparently it can't do that if it does not have them stored. This affects also on Smartpss realtime... -

XVR = cross - VR so it has both analogue and IP cameras, and I have only IP cameras. IVS function works well in the XVR, trips-alarms and records as it should. I am the original installer of the customers NVR. -

Yes, IVMS works almost perfectly. I can see the picture and control PTZ, just can't modify the settings, for example changing IP address results to network/timeout error. Hiwatch DS-P2420 PTZ half bricked
And a bit forward again: Batch configurator activates the camera without error message and updates FW successfully. With batch configurators settings icon I can go to camera settings and see them. I can view live video, even turn the ptz. Uploading backup config gives "operation failed".
