    Tony's solution is cheaper than to buy a HDMI Camera, the HDMI camera as i know have 2 models, but no one keep stocks, They are bit old ones 1/2.9cmos compare to the IPC-T54IR-ZE 1/1.8CMOS model.

    The one you bought is an older version. Please go to website to download this one, also please don't paste your SN anywhere on public forums, it's not safe.

    It's a new supplier, A normal factory supply it, can't compare to the current supplier.

    no cheaper chips, they have plan to cut off the AI functions to lower the cost, use less DDR. 2 series I know they have some update. 3 series and 5 series won't have too much different, the ddr price make the update too limted, so this year product plan not have too big change.

    Use confirmed good poe switch and cable to test. If not work, Try to do a hard reset to the camera, reset the camera's button for 7-10 seconds. If both not work, camera dead.

    Turret mounting on gable end, preference?

    Turret mostly use the junction box can do the job, There has 2 junction box, one is PFA130-E the round one, another one is square PFA122, Both can work for the most turrets cams we are selling. Square one is easier to install than the round one. Easy to adjust the view angle, no problem.

    Yes, the 54 or 58 series the best cameras so far. Bad news the Crazy AI make the cameras shortage of chips. I am trying to make the supply stable but chips price have increase too much this year, and have news April they will increase the price again.

    The chips prices are increasing too much make our sales plan badly delayed, the camera price will double this year if the chips supply not back to not too crazy.
