Morning everyone, as far as SD cards, any recommendations, there are tons out there. Do any SD cards work better than others for the Dahua cameras? I have the (IPC-HDW5231R-Z) and the others are coming this week (HDBW4231F-AS) -

Yes i found out that if you add cameras to SmartPSS you can control functions, but as nayr said if add your NVR you get all cameras and mobile access without opening ports for each camera. Thanks for the picture though made me go look at why mine would not function ( no cameras installed just... -

Went on a hunch, logged out and back in with a user name that I setup a while ago. And yes admin rights and all tabs are there. So somehow there was an error ( Id10T) and admin must have been kicked out of admin rights LOL Problem resolved Thanks again nayr -

I agree completely, though its nice to be able to set it up through one software. but its all good, at least in my case one camera not in the other I cant change the Varifocal settings did you see my post IP Camera software Any thoughts -

nayr SmartPSS doesn't seem to be able to control the varifocal zoom and focus can you confirm this? I can control through the cameras web page though. -

i have a question for you, Looking at Smart PSS under all devices it list the 2 cameras a and b and 1 NVR all different IP numbers (not public) 192.168.1.108, .109, .110> all have same Port number, is that normal to setup for viewing outside of network for some reason i can only see camera "a"...
