What the Flock is going on here!

Yeah, it's all just a big top show. These politicians are NOT about to refuse free money. After the elections, it will be a 180-degree spin and you'll see these things at every corner, every driveway, and anywhere else they can think to put them. You won't be able to fart without someone knowing it.

Palm Bay at it again. Pay attention to the statement made by Mike Jaffe saying they should have waited for the new governor's election before re-activating the cameras - does he know something we don't? Sure sounds like it.

Yes, the marker on the right disappeared after they did their markings. Their marking near that marker was roughly 3 to 4 feet up in the yard behind the property marker.

What the Flock is going on here!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, FPL moved all lines underground in 2023. Prior to that power lines (and other utilities) were run on poles to the rear of properties, leaving a 10' per property (20 feet total) easement for utilities and drainage. We have city water here, but every property has...

What the Flock is going on here!

It's become a political shit show here. Every single board member is corrupt, top down. It's all about the money in their pockets Now I noticed they are marking for something in the neighborhood, but some of the markings are damn near 6 to 7 feet onto our property. We just recently had our...

What the Flock is going on here!

Well, it seems the "bagging" of Flock cameras was a political move here in Palm Bay. Cameras were covered a week or two before local elections and now that the elections are over, they are now back in service with more going up. They said they checked the permitting and there were no issues with...

Funny enough, we started with season 3 by accident (I guess we couldn't see the number 3 on the movie thumb), then watched 1 followed by 2.

It's because it is the last season and only 8 episodes. They don't have much time to "get it on". I guess the producers are more interested in the "Neagley" spinoff coming in the near future. Personally, I think the "Neagley" character should have stayed with the Reacher series. Reacher is the...

    Funny / Satire

Since I don't follow the political bullshit, are they really saying now that "Nobody forced you to take the jab"? Where was this quoted from?

Choosing the right camera model for the location

Like I mentioned, I think we may be asking a lot of a $800 camera vs a $2000 camera as far as operational performance. If the $2000 camera you have/had was available early last year, I may have been able to justify the expense, since it didn't seem to be much larger than the $800 camera (I could...

Choosing the right camera model for the location

I think we may be asking too much of these cameras. The previous camera with the tracking issues this one replaced was close to $2000, yes? I think the limitation with this model is primarily software related but may include the possibility of limited processor power/memory. Would be an...

Did they not make a firmware update for this model addressing those issues? We're not the only ones that have those models. Not everyone has the issues, do they? The dude from Cali seems to have good luck with it.

Choosing the right camera model for the location

I just can't justify purchasing 2 new 5442s right now. $400 is a lot of green at the moment. I'd do a trade of the PTZ for a few 5442s, but I doubt I'd get any takers even with the PTZ being new/never installed.

Choosing the right camera model for the location

Dude, let it go on the PTZ. Fun is fun, but I'm not going fuck up my life over a camera. If you're interested in it, make an offer, otherwise forget about it.

Choosing the right camera model for the location

Understood, and if I didn't have anything, all 5442s would be my choice. But I have one 5442 AS 3.6mm and one Color4M-T 3.6mm in my collection. Just trying to decide the best location for each camera

Choosing the right camera model for the location

Color4M-T has both IR and white lights. It can be run in B&W with IR and can be set up when triggered to switch to color and white light. But I would be running color 24/7 in both locations, regardless. While not ideal, there is just enough light to do so as the cul-de-sac has a streetlight, and...

Choosing the right camera model for the location

I have a color4M-T 3.6mm and 5442 3.6mm cameras. Looking for a suggestion where to use each. Do I use Color4M-T or 5442 for the driveway? 5442 or Color4M-T for the Cul de sac overview? I have one color4M-T and one 5442 currently. Trying to decide where to use each. The driveway has two crossing...
