    How did your upgrade to R3 go?. Mine crashed out during the upgrade process and I had to back out and reinstall Release 2. Usually the upgrade process is quite smooth. It's been painful this time around.

    Using EZtools to view the assigned DHCP address, try logging in to that via a a web browser. At first login it may present you with an a EULA to accept. You will need to change the default password and can then use the GUI to set a static IP address.

    What hardware are you running this on and how many cameras do you have set up ?, The Mobile server puts an extra load on the CPU, how about trying it from another machine on the network rather that the recorder itself ?, http://milestonerserverIP:8081 instead of localhost.

    Same here, I'm running 2020R1and the mobile app playback is sluggish/broken, Live view is OK. Must be something to do with the app itself, because the system was working fine till I got the new Android update recently. Connecting via the web interface :8081 works fine.

    I've set up multiple Milestone systems with multiple different cameras and have never needed to do that. Milestone will use an appropriate driver specific to a camera if possible.

    I did not enable an onvif account out of the box, it just worked. When I look at the onvif user tab however under 'Setting>Account', I see an admin user account listed there. Not sure if that's a copy of the same local user account, I didn't add it.

    Could be a name resolution issue. How are you connecting on the smart client? Computename\user ? Try adding the hostnames in the hosts file on both machines of each device.
