For a solution using a condensor mics: select good omni boundary mics (ex. Shure MX393/O or similar) requires a mic mixer with phantom power (ex. Shure SCM268) will need balanced audio (from mic mixer) to unbalenced (into cam mic in) audio adaptor (ex. RDL TX-AFC1F)- DsineR

I have the same issue, and guessing this is a function of how the camera locks onto a person or vehicle. My typical senario: Spotter cam senses movement & calls PTZ preset, PTZ moves to preset, 2 or 3 or 4 second delay until PTZ recognizes target, then zooms & tracks. Agree - cam loses... -

Confirmed, original Driveway Cam is not providing mic audio to other cams. Tested this on another cam, same results. Only Clone#1 provides mic audio.- DsineR

Restarting the cam in BI did not work. BUT, the Driveway cam is cloned a couple times (spotters). and mic audio from Clone#1 works as a source for other cams. Correct sequence for firmware update?
Advice from @looney2ns It's usually always best before updating a firmware, that you follow this: 1-Set camera back to FULL factory defaults. 2-Update firmware. 3-Set camera once again back to FULL factory defaults. 4- Configure camera back up from scratch, don't import any exported settings. -
