Hmm..hadn't thought of a UPS/Power strip combined. I like the form factor of the Smart1500. Not such great reviews on Amazon though and it appears the batteries are not replaceable. I would not assume you can simply re-install Windows 10 with no disk. The system would have had to have Windows 10 previously. Not all did. There is a decal on the bottom on the unit that will indicate if it had Windows. Then you can install a new hard drive and use the Windows media creator...- Rickoo

what microphone works with the Dahua camera? does it need a source of power or is it powered by the POE in the camera?
I didn't have great luck with the above mic. When placed within a foot or two of the camera. (all you can do unless adding additional cable) I had feedback and noise. May have been just the mic I had, or the camera, or both. I picked up a cheap mic off ebay with a longer cord and it's been... -

The Elitedesk 800 G3 similarly equipped seems a bit more plentiful at the $300 range. Processor is a bit slower i5 7500. Not sure of any other differences. Any opinions on the G3?- Rickoo
