I highly recommend looking into a Netgate pfSense firewall appliance. Side note: Unifi switches make making VLANS super easy as long as your router supports them. If not, a Layer 3 switch is the answer.- whoami ™

You say your in Blue-Iris directly, which should have you logged in under local_console account, make sure audio listen/talk is enabled. I about pulled my hair out trying figure out why my audio wasn't working and this was why. -

If your selling this stuff for a living I would make a Netgate pfSense appliance a mandatory part of the setup. The Netgate SG1100 is $179. Are you able to connect over Chrome browser using UI3? by using the IP address of your Blue Iris Server and the port you selected in settings for webserver. ie. http://192.168.0.100:8181 -

If you set up stunnel on your system and have the option for HTTPS on LAN checked, you have to install the root certificate on your device running the app (iOS/Android) or the app will not connect over http or https. doubt you made it this far but just incase... -

[SOLVED] I finely got it working... Even tho this is the Amcrest IP4M-1051, and Blue-Iris has a setting IPM-HX1,IP3M-HX2,IP4M-1051 RTSP... the setting that finely worked was setting model to 4K/ProHD/RTPS/HTTP -
Added Dark Model... process times slower?
I didnt have good luck with dark model. Side by side default model hit better on low light color images for me. -

Find/Inspect is how I got PTZ working. Find/Inspect sets it to Generic/ONVIF as poster above wrote. But he said My Blue Iris v.5.3.1.6 is a year old, but it has this Amcrest IP4M-1051 as an option under Make and Model so I would assume that wouldn't be an issue. -

You could be make $9 a day mining Ethereum with that 3090 right now. In two weeks you could buy a used Quadro P400, after power, with the money you made from selling the ETH you mined... Then using AITool you could throw 4 instances of DS at that P400 and process images in parallel and it... -

I think Id just buy Bitcoin with this budget money, then rotate into ETH when BTC hits 100k in December and set a limit order to sell your ETH @ 10k... while your waiting on that keep reading... By Q1 next year you'll be ready to buy and set up something worth while.- whoami ™

Sounds like maybe the remote Windows host Blue Iris is running on is going to sleep. If you have a monitor connected to it it'd be easy to know if that is the issue, since the screen would go black. The setting is under "Settings>System>Power & Sleep" You want it set to never sleep.- whoami ™

Good deal on a 4tb WD HDD
I've been tire kickin drives looking at getting a 1TB HDD for my jpegs to feed deepstack, thinking maybe I could squeeze out another millisecond or two of performance and it'd be nice to have more history to look back through for fine tuning. I have a bunch of excess Samsung EVO SSD's I was...
