    My problem seems to be how to know a camera purchase will have support from Dahua as in the past they ask for serial number and all the ones I bought were not serial numbers USA/Canada and said no support.     Thanks, that was a good explanation and will look more at the Dahua brand from now on. I found out from a couple ebay buys the hard way, contacted Dahua with questions, they asked for serial number, said can't help, not USA/Canada serial number not theirs.

    I find the glands are ok with cat5 wire and maybe some other. Bad part is the camera ends don't fit through the hole in glands. If they made a nut that split that would be nice. Camera ends for network cameras are about the same as BNC ends just fit through the hole in the glands

    I believe when I first went to the IP address of the camera it asked to download a plugin. That I am not sure of, but usually you can't do much unless a plugin or active control is downloaded

    I looked and I was using IE to do the settings. I changed it maybe 4x and it resorts back to video only after a couple minutes after setting it to Audio&Video.
